Able bodied individuals are often unaware of the daily struggles that those with disabilities face. As a result, they may unintentionally discriminate against others who are differently abled. This lack of understanding can lead to difficulties for people with disabilities as they try to navigate everyday situations. While some individuals might be more empathetic and accommodating, many are not. This disparity in treatment often stems from a lack of exposure or education about disability issues. As a result, able-bodied people may unintentionally perpetuate stereotypes and biases that further marginalize those with disabilities. However, this does not have to be the case. By increasing awareness and education, we can work towards creating a more inclusive society where everyone has an equal opportunity to participate fully in their communities. This requires making adjustments to our daily routines and behaviors to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
