123 Block 3rd Hand Adapter
thingiverse
This handy adapter lets you attach coolant tube-style soldering third hands to 123 machinists blocks, making them even more useful tools in your makers kit. If you're not familiar with 123 blocks, check out Adam Savage's tested video on these versatile tools. Essentially, this adapter is a 1/2-inch-20 UNF female coolant tube connector that screws into a 3/8-inch-16 male 123 block thread. I've included two versions: one with a long section of 3/8-inch thread and another with a short section. You'll need the following items: * 123 blocks - Buy a set on Amazon for a low price * Flexible coolant tube with a 1/2-inch threaded end (available on Amazon or Sparkfun) * Alligator clips
