This is a 123 block optimized for 3D printing. 123 blocks are a versatile tool in any machine shop. They're commonly used for fixturing, but their applications extend far beyond that. This particular block is designed to integrate seamlessly with my entire ecosystem of 3D printed fixtures: 4"x4" Fixture Plate --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3749201 4"x8" Fixture Plate --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3755040 8"x8" Fixture Plate --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3763608 Compatible 123 Block --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3675399 1x2x.75 Fixture Block --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3761790 1x3x.75 Fixture Block --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3762813 Cam Clamp --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3763199 Mitee-Bite Clamp --- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3770174 Like all 123 blocks, this one measures 1"x2"x3". It features 1/4" clearance holes spaced at .5" intervals, with an additional .25" of clearance from the edges. Unlike standard 123 blocks, however, these holes run vertically rather than horizontally to optimize print quality. I've made available STL, STP, and original Inventor IPT files for anyone to use as they see fit, releasing them into the public domain.
