120mm Galactic Empire Fan Grill

I designed a 120mm fan grill inspired by the Galactic Empire's style, adding my own flair for visual impact and improving airflow efficiency. The grill features cutouts on the back and chamfered edges that help increase airflow without compromising its design. To achieve this, I deliberately oversized the holes by 0.25mm to account for the first layer squishing out slightly during printing. This ensures a smooth print process and easy cleanup of the finished product. Recently, I added a render of the grill's backside, showcasing the chamfered edges and cutouts that enhance airflow while maintaining its sleek design. This innovative design allows for optimal airflow without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. My design process began in Rhino 3D, where I carefully crafted the fan grill's dimensions to print perfectly on my Rostock Max V3 3D printer. The result is a functional and visually striking fan grill that embodies the Empire's style with a modern twist.
