120mm Fan Shroud to 3" Out
thingiverse
I was in need of a 120mm fan mount to 3-inch exhaust out and ended up with this design when I couldn't find what I needed on TV. Plan is to drill a hole in the wall, insert 3 inches, and pump hot air from the server room up the wall to the attic space. This can also be used for other exhaust or cooling needs. This was used in conjunction with a 12-volt speed-controlled fan, purchased from Amazon: <A HREF="https://www.amazon.com/Wathai-Controller-Receiver-Playstation-Component/dp/B07VYGQPCZ">Wathai 120mm AC Powered Fan</A> Edit: Unfortunately, the holes on specs I searched didn't line up. However, there was enough room to drill. This is the second iteration that doesn't have a wall plate backing. Originally designed to go over a 2-gang wall plate, but that print required supports and almost doubled the print time. Fusion360 files are attached in case you wish to remix it. Print time for a MK3 is as follows (YMMV) using PrusaSlic3r: - 3.0 "Draft" was clocking at six hours. - 2.0 "SPEED" setting is just shy of seven hours. - 2.0 "Quality" sits right under eight hours. I went with "SPEED" as this is not a visible item but wanted something better than 3.0 "Draft".
