120mm Fan Flex Tube System
thingiverse
This was crafted to utilize a 120mm fan, boasting moderate efficiency, in order to boost circulation into boots and shoes following extended hiking excursions. My setup also encompasses a filter, pressure booster, secondary fan, low-clearance intake, and 2 x 12v ceramic heat blocks, all designed to facilitate the drying process. I am printing on a Prusa I3 custom build featuring an upgraded board, 0.8mm nozzle, in PLA, at 215C, 120mm/s, 0.2mm layer height, and I only employ support for the Y splitter. The Base printed in 5.5 hours, while the hose took 2.5 hours to complete, and the Y splitter will likely require just as long or longer than the base. I deemed the pressure booster essential due to the reduction of the fan(from 120mm to about 50mm), along with constant fluctuations in application(Flexible nature of the hose). Please feel free to create, modify, and enjoy.
