120mm Fan Exhaust Adapter

I've recently added a small CNC Router/Laser to my workbench. Following one trial with the laser, it became immediately apparent that adequate exhaust ventilation was not merely recommended, but essential. The room reeked of smoke for days - while not unpleasantly so. My wife had intended to dispose of these containers due to severely damaged lids. I selected the best of them and will use it inverted as a makeshift enclosure. I ordered a 120mm fan and designed an adapter to securely mount the fan to some 4" dryer vent hose. A hole will be cut in the container, allowing me to install the fan, which will then be connected to a custom-designed adapter that fits our specific brand of window. If fumes start drifting back inside, I plan to seal off the gap with cardboard.
