BEWARE: Your printer will not function properly if you use this fan and mount combination. This setup allows you to accommodate extremely tall heat sinks on some TMC2208 drivers, which is essential for optimal performance. This design should fit Anycubic i3 Mega and Mega S printers. However, it's crucial to note that it's not compatible with the latest version of the board featuring an integrated SD card reader and fixed motor drivers. Initially, I thought I could fit all components within the case using existing brackets. Unfortunately, the tall heat sinks on my TMC2208 drivers made this impossible. This custom design is specifically tailored for a particular fan: ID-COOLING Slim 15mm Thickness Big Airflow of 53.6CFM 120mm PWM-Controlled Fan (available on eBay). The overall dimensions of the mount are 120mm in diameter and 15mm thick, with holes spaced 105mm apart on each side, accommodating M4 clearance. The screws used to attach the bracket to the board are the same ones that originally held the fan bracket in place. Simply reuse them to simplify the installation process. To securely fasten the fan to the bracket, you'll need two M4 nuts and two M4x25 screws with a non-countersink head type. When installing the fan, ensure you resolder the wires according to the following configuration: from left to right, the first and second wires control the fan, the third wire supplies 12V power, and the fourth is ground. I connected my original fan's red wire to the 12V power source and the black wire to the ground. As the bottom case no longer fit with this new setup, I used double-sided tape to secure the existing feet. However, a custom fitting for these feet would be ideal in the future.
