CHANGE NOTE 01/31/19 - Enhanced loose filament end retaining feature on "Sector" models. A completely printed master spool that fits perfectly on a 120mm buildplate without any tools or hardware. The "Core" part has an outer diameter of 3 inches to match the cardboard tube used by 3D Solutech for their Master Spool filament shipments. CAD files in STEP format are available if you want to adjust the OD of the "Core" to fit your specific filament dimensions. For end users who use ball-bearing spool holders that grip the outer rim, print out 12 sectors (6 per side). Otherwise, 3 or 4 sectors per side will suffice. The "Sectors" securely lock into pegs in the "Cap" piece. If they don't fit after printing, simply deburr or file the holes until they do.
