120 mm Air Flow Restrictor
thingiverse
I created this enclosure specifically for my ABS printer project, where I needed to vent out toxic fumes without creating an uncomfortable draft. The design is versatile and can be adapted for various uses - feel free to get creative with it! To assemble the enclosure: 1. Print all components, including the shutter which fits together seamlessly by snapping it on. 2. Since the design should fit together without significant modifications, there might be a need to do some fine-tuning or filing to achieve a precise fit. 3. The backing plate is not essential but helps keep the shutter securely in place; you can still use the enclosure effectively without it. 4. Make sure to install the Flow Adjuster V2 correctly as it plays a crucial role in creating an airtight seal and enhancing fume extraction. 5. Take note that there's a gap on either side of the lever - a minor design flaw, but not a concern when focusing on removing harmful fumes from your printing environment.
