A customized version of the original design, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=16627, features a modified motor shaft diameter (4.2mm), one nut on the model, and a pulley B diameter of 22mm. It also includes an idler height of 1.5mm, m3 nut depth at 2.7mm, nut-shaft distance as 2.2mm, a profile of 6, m3 diameter of 3.2mm, and 12 teeth on the pulley. Other specifications include no retainer, m3 nut flats measuring 5.7mm, nut angle at 90 degrees, an m3 nut hex length of 1mm, a pulley top height of 12mm, additional tooth width added at 0.2mm, and a pulley base height of 8mm. This customization was made after modifying the stock gears off a set of NEMA 17s purchased on eBay, as they had a 4mm shaft rather than the expected 5mm. The creator is unsure if increasing the number of teeth affects its compatibility with their Prusa Mendel belt or not, but the teeth mesh perfectly.
