12 Talismans of Shendu - Jackie Chan Adventures

I present to you the "12 Talismans of Shendu" from the cartoon show "Jackie Chan Adventures". There are 3 versions of the talismans included: LED light up Solid Solid Body w/ space for paint/vinyl The LED light up talismans are probably what you're here for, so let's get to it! They use these LEDs from Amazon: https://a.co/d/0ly5TGb For these, you will need to print 12 of the "Outer Body", "Inner Body", and "Lens". Then you will need to print one of each animal "topper" and glue them to the outer bodies. These are alignment pins to help. The outer body and the inner body may need supports for the locking slots and tabs. I used very light supports and had no issues removing them. I recommend printing both with 3 perimeters and 25% infill. To get the surface finish for the animal toppers, I used the "Hilbert Curve" option in PrusaSlicer and only used 2 perimeters. I would also print these at 50% of what your normal print speed is. Bed adhesion can be an issue for the first layer, but was not after that. I would also enable the option "Avoid Crossing Perimeters". Use 100% infill for these. When you print the lenses, I would recommend using the "Archimedian Chords" option to get rid of the seam on the face. The top layer fill pattern (which will be the bottom after printing) doesn't matter. They are thin enough that infill shouldn't matter. The solid versions are just that, a solid talisman that you can print in one go. You can then try to paint the recessed areas. Print these with 25% infill, 2 perimeters, and 4 top layers. I would use the "Hilbert Curve" for the top faces and "Concentric" or "Octagram Spiral" for the bottom. The 3rd version uses a solid body, but has a small 1 layer recess to allow you to add paint or vinyl to color them. Uses the toppers the same way as the LED version. *NOTE!!!!* Each talisman will take about 60g of filament. That's around 720g total, so plan accordingly!
