I think I might have a way to replicate the font mold with French flair. Printing two identical pieces could work, then cast them in heat-resistant ceramic - perfect for casting 12 pt type. This illustration gives us an idea of how the mouth piece doesn't quite align with the mould carriage yet. No rush, let's wait before adding molten metal to this project. After all, it's still a work in progress. Type Held By Hand's advice comes from their own expertise.
