12 Port Mechanical Siren
thingiverse
A 12 port mechanical air raid/tornado siren. Rotor should be printed with 50 percent infill or more. Stator can be printed with 20 percent infill or more. Motor should come with its own nuts. Use these to secure the print to the motor. The shaft nut is used to transfer torque to the rotor, so please only spin it counterclockwise or else the nut will screw off the shaft, carrying the rotor with it. Supports are definitely needed. Designed to fit the YaeGarden DC 24V Permanent Magnet DC Motor • https://www.amzn.com/B07QMCCZN3 • https://www.amzn.com/B07MMQMPGX There is a 12v and 24v version to this motor. I recommend the 24v version because to get the motor up to speed, you have to feed it about 16.68 volts for a 750hz tone. Printed with a 1.0mm Nozzle at 60mm/s. Takes around 7 hours for both parts. Some sanding/filing might be required, especially around the shaft mount area.
