12-Pointed Islamic Star Coaster

<p>This is a classic motif and pattern seen in Arabic culture &amp; Islamic art. Used in countless applications, from walls to carvings and even jewelry. There is so much geometry &amp; mathematics packed in this beautiful star.</p><p>I created <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/231263-zellij-moroccan-tile-coaster-multicolor-multipart">these coaster models</a> as a souvenir from the time when I lived in Morocco.</p><p>I am also entering this to the Printables coaster contest, to share the centuries of history, knowledge and culture behind these beautiful designs with the 3D printing community.</p><h3><strong>Printing Instructions</strong></h3><p>You can print this upside-down on a textured bed.</p><p>You can scale any coaster in Z in your slicer to make it thicker.&nbsp;</p><p>Add a square of felt or cork underneath for an absorbent and non-slip feature.</p><p>This is prone to stringing, so fine tune that, or you can always clean it manually.</p><p>Find more coasters in my <a href="https://www.printables.com/social/15573-dany-sanchez/collections/142245">Flag Coasters collection</a>, you can likely find yours there!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><i>Notes: Not included are the Ramadan lantern or the Fatima Hand.
