12 inch inflatable hoover board hub motor
thingiverse
The hover board motor is tossed aside, and here's how to repurpose it effectively. Remove the rim from my kick bike wzoom and screw in the holes for the spokes with 20 pieces of 4 x 25 wood screws. Then, press the rim onto the hover board motor. With the fat inflatable tire, the ride will be smooth, and the top speed should double that of the original 6.5 inches (approximately 19 kilometers per hour using a 36V battery with two cells). Specifications indicate the motor is nominally 350 watts, but I question its actual power output since it becomes quite warm when a 350-watt controller is used. Nonetheless, for an e-bike or small electric vehicle, it should prove useful and relatively fast.
