12 inch airsoft mlok handguard
thingiverse
for a while now I've wanted more mlok slots to use on my airsoft aeg, and while browsing thingiverse I couldn't help but notice there were no full size rifle length handguards. There were plenty of carbine length models but nothing longer than 10.5 inches. this wasn't good enough for me so I hopped onto my newly acquired version of fusion 360 and started modeling. This handguard measures 12 inches long and was designed to screw directly onto the m32x1.5 threads on the upper receiver of airsoft AEGs. As I'm relatively new to the concept of 3d design, the model isn't perfect and the installation and assembly can be rather finicky, I plan on uploading a video guide at a later date of how to modify the delta ring for a tighter and more secure fit on your rifle, although the included files should be a reasonably tight fit right off the bed. Due to the length of this handguard it could only be printed as one solid piece on a very tall printer like the creality cr10. but the two piece version will fit comfortably on an ender 3. I really only recommend petg or ABS for this if you want a functional handguard, materials like PLA will be too brittle. you will also need TWO m4x10 screws and TWO m4 nuts. As stated earlier I will try to upload an assembly video later with some tips and tricks but for now that's all I've got.
