12" Grain Mill Pulley
thingiverse
When fully assembled this is a pulley (sheave) that fits a standard 3L V-belt and allows for the motorization of a Cereal Killer grain mill. It will likely fit many other standard two roller grain mills so long as they have the standard 10mm drive shaft with a small flat area. The pulley is approximately 12" in diameter and combined with a 1.5"-2.0" pully on a standard 1725rpm motor will result in an appropriate speed for milling grain. (200-300rpm) You will need to print the model 4 times. I printed it standing on end so the belt groove would be as clean as possible. I also used a high infill and thick walls to make it as structurally sound as possible. Hardware Required: 10mm Flange Coupling - This is the metal insert that grips the drive shaft and gives the pulley something to bolt to. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J4N439N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hardware for attaching flange coupling to pulley quadrants: (4) M4 x 25 mm Machine Screws (4) M4 Flat Washers (4) M4 Nylon Locknuts Hardware for assembling pulley: (12) 8-32 x 3/4" Machine Screws (12) #8 Flat Washers (12) #8 Nylon Locknuts Apologies for the mix of standard and metric. The flange coupling was detailed in metric measurements so I sought the correct size M4 screws for that but I'm in America and standard sized hardware is much cheaper and more accessible so I used that for everything else. You could probably use M4 screws for everything if desired. OPTIONAL 10mm Pillow Block Bearing for reducing side load on the drive shaft. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0815ZKR8B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
