12 gauge shell holder for quad-load
thingiverse
Update 29.08.19 Top holder has been redesigned, now it's merged with retainer. It should be printed upside down to save space. This eliminates the need for 2 M3x16 screws and 8 nuts instead of 10. Additionally, only 15-degree version remains. General This product is not fully tested yet. I created this design based on photographs of similar products from the manufacturer, but I've never held one in my hands before. However, it appears to be functional so far. What's needed besides printed parts: - 8 M3x20 screws - 2 M3x16 screws - 10 M3 nuts - 8 M3 washers - 4 d6 h10 magnets - 4 d6 h4 magnets - 1 tek-lok clip with screws and nuts (usually included) Regarding the plate part - I've created one instance using PLA, which looks workable but still needs improvement. I'd like to use aluminum or textolite/fiberglass instead. For example, on one of the photos you can see a blue plate made from 3mm anodized aluminum. My anodizing skills are still developing, but it's my first attempt. You'll notice two types of files - 25d_* and 15d_*. The numbers refer to the angle between the cartridges and the plate in degrees. I find 25 degrees more comfortable, but I started with 15 degrees, so both versions are included.
