12 Gauge Ammo Holder

This is a versatile ammo belt holder for 12 gauge shotgun shells, specifically designed for frequent feral pig hunters. To meet the needs of my work colleague, I aimed to minimize filament usage and print time, achieving impressive results with each clip weighing about 9g and printing within 40 minutes. My design objectives were clear: create a lightweight yet sturdy solution that could be easily customized to suit individual requirements. Two distinct designs are included - one featuring connecting clips for linking multiple clips together on the belt, and another without these connectors for added flexibility. Each clip is designed to securely hold two shotgun shells, ensuring a reliable and efficient loading system. However, please note an essential detail: when printing with linking clips, it's crucial to trim them back using a knife or cutters to facilitate smooth connections between clips. When attaching the clips to your belt, it's best to load them separately before linking them together in place. Conversely, when removing them, simply reverse this process. Due to the inherent anisotropic nature of FDM printing, it's essential to print these clips vertically to prevent breakage.
