Current Status: Final UPDATE: The design has been revised and perfected for a better fitment and easier printing. Design completion confirmed. This plug set was created in response to a pressing need for a quick, compact way to remove the hotend without relying on spade connectors. None of the commercially-available plugs met the size and pin density requirements. This plug is designed specifically for use at the effector-end of the whip, with a frame-end plug expected to follow soon. Two inner holes accommodate 18-16AWG heater wires, while ten outer holes are reserved for 20-24AWG fan/sensor/extruder wires. Molex pins are used for all connections: .062" pin sets for outer connectors and .093" pin sets for inner connectors, both widely available at reputable electronics suppliers. Note: Print settings must be carefully read to ensure the plug prints properly with no hole breach.
