A long time ago, a calamity befell onto the Woodlands, and none of the guardians were able to do anything to stop it. With the woodland facing destruction, the guardians poured all their energy to try and create a being capable of saving the woodland. They succeeded, but only in part, for the creature created was devoid of sentience and emotion. They soon discovered that the way to fix this was to sacrifice a creature with enough care and love for the forest to serve as this creature's core. Desperate, Faythe's predecessor sacrificed herself to protect her beloved home.
