Finally, the SMARS V4 is here at last! The standout features of this version are its top closed battery case, RGB LED frame, power switch, and sleek new wheel design. **WARNING: THIS DESIGN REQUIRES PROFESSIONAL WELDING!** The SMARS V4 can be assembled in two different configurations: * **V4_a**: This Arduino nano-based version offers an embedded design with no exposed electronics parts. If you're looking for a single-purpose robot, such as an RC car, this is the way to go. It's also designed to host Bluetooth or Wi-Fi modules, making it perfect for remote applications. * **V4_b**: This Arduino UNO-based version is ideal for projects that require frequent changes in purpose. Connections are easily modified, and uploading sketches doesn't require disassembly. In the "documentation" folder, you'll find assembly instructions and connection diagrams for both versions. To add Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, simply connect the module to pins 0, 1, 5V, and GND. There are plenty of tutorials online; just Google the name of your module for more information. You might be wondering why this version isn't free. Here's the lowdown: * **Aesthetic upgrade**: While SMARS V4 looks great, it doesn't offer any significant functional upgrades over the original design. * **Design rights**: Unfortunately, some people have been selling my designs without permission. I put a lot of time and effort into creating this system, and it hurts to see others profiting from my work without giving credit. * **Affiliate links**: Not enough people are using my affiliate links, which means I don't have the budget to create new features or design mods.
