This is an attempt to create a Custom LCD Enclosure for 12.1" LCD Screen from a Laptop. It was designed to hold the LCD Control board with small speaker, offering flexibility as there are many types of speakers available. The enclosure is also designed to house a battery pack to power the board, featuring a hole placed for a switch and power socket to charge the battery pack without disassembly. The standard 3.5mm power socket allows for easy charging, while the battery pack, customized specifically for this project, is a 12-volt 8000mAh unit available on Ebay or Amazon. The LCD Control board designed for use in this enclosure is an M.NT68676.2 model, which boasts HDMI, DVI, VGA, and audio in/out ports, and can be purchased on Ebay for approximately $25.00. The LCD Screen used is a LTN121A10 model from an old Chromebook, available on Ebay starting at just $15.00. Customization is key with this design, as the button wall and port walls are included to accommodate various boards. For those interested in building their own enclosure, the full uncut version of the box and lid are provided. This approach can save significant costs compared to using print services, which may charge over $150 for printing.
