Cursed Immortality Season 2 - (4/4) The Deepborne - Curse of Greed Description “Smiles” Finnegan O’Conor Finnegan, or Finn for short, was always fond of flashing a smile to everyone around him. Not even his own crewmates were sure whether he was just proud of his pearly whites or really liked intimidating others because even for a Vastari his teeth were abnormally long and sharp. Once, in a portside inn, a drunkard had hit Finn in the face with a tankard and cracked one of his teeth. Fewer people left the inn that night than had come to visit, and Finn collected a tax of a few teeth from every one of them. Before his transformation, Finn had performed his blacksmithing duties with a number of tools and had needed a winch to throw out and bring in the ship’s anchor - no more. Strong enough to hoist the anchor as his weapon of choice, he hammers metal with his fists alone nowadays. The fact that he can’t stop smiling doesn’t bother him one bit, but he’s still protective of his teeth. Don’t let him catch you wearing a shark tooth necklace. “Hook” Fisk Darrington As the ship’s cook and main fisherman, Fisk always was an avid diver. The salt did not hurt his eyes anymore, and he could outswim a swarm against the tide. Most of the time though, he preferred to sit at the prow of the ship with a whole array of fishing poles at his disposal, catching anything swimming by. As Vastari, the main ingredient he and the crew were interested in in the first place was blood, so the onboard Bloodwell nearly cost Fisk his work. Luckily for him, most of the crew and Shuck especially had become used to eating fish by that point that they refused to drink from the well without a fresh bite alongside. Nowadays, Fisk has taken to staying underwater for days on end, and makes a sport out of hunting the largest, most dangerous sea creatures he can drive his hook into. So far, his prize catch has been a Volcanic Spidercrab with legs as long as the ship’s mast. “Sawbone” Shuck Clester Both the ship’s sawbones and provost, Shuck always had a knack for cutting remarks. He’s butted heads plenty of times with the whole crew, Samira included, but in the end, has always proved his knowledge and prowess. Proud by nature, he’s the most well-read officer of Samira’s crew. In fact, he had been the only one to doubt if the expedition for the lost temple had been such a great idea, and he would have been more than happy to die with a “Told ya so”. In the end though, he survived the ordeal and had the joyous task of patching up his comrades despite still getting used to his new many-eyed perspective. As a reward for years of advice, Samira offered him the Sawfish Claymore of Varin Tanquerros once they had finally sunk his flagship.
