I was determined to equip my trusty old Meade 4500 Reflector telescope, a 114mm/4.5" model that has been faithfully serving me for years, with solar filters. The large two-piece assembly perfectly covers the primary mirror of this beloved scope, while separate holders are designed specifically for the 6x30 spotting scope and red dot spotting scope. Not only does it fit my old Meade 4500, but it also works seamlessly on a newer Meade DS2114, another 114mm/4.5" goto scope that I've come to rely on.
