Mausoleum of Mulkalan. 18th century. Mulkalan (Mulla-Kalan, Kalan - great) is a nickname, and the name Meherereglan is that of a well-known local saint who still enjoys great popularity among the people today. According to legend, he practiced irrigated agriculture, had homes in seven different locations at once. Meherereglan was well acquainted with another local saint Magzum; even in their advanced age, they would joke about where one or the other would be buried after death. The prophecy of each was fulfilled after their deaths.
