This is a gas canister stand for your canister stove. It doubles as a cap for the canister to protect it from dirt and grime. It's very low profile and will likely fit in anything that will fit the canister itself. I can put the canister with stand attached in addition to my MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe in my Toaks 750ml titanium pot without fiddling. Use appropriate length M3 screws to put it together but make sure the head is not too tall. A nut is probably not needed, I doubt the screws will fall out. If you're worried, fix the screws with some super glue.
