I scored a roll of 110v 5050 RGB LED strip from Aliexpress during their 11/11 sale, looking for a simple and non-destructive way to mount it on the house. A section of flashing that completely encircles the eaves of the house presented itself as the perfect spot to attach the strip. The clips must be fastened to the strip beforehand, allowing them to then slide over the flashing - a snug fit that doesn't put excessive pressure on the clip. Maybe someone else will discover a use for these clips.
