The current design features eleven hypoid gears arranged within a flexible 1.5 twist Möbius strip, allowing for poloidal rotation. Previously, a rigid-framed version was uploaded for SLS printing and shared on GrabCAD; however, users experienced difficulties when using FDM printers. These issues have now been resolved, with the model transitioning to a flexible frame for enhanced enjoyment. Many thanks to those who printed and tested the initial edition. As an employee of GrabCAD, I had access to an FDM printer and seized this opportunity to revise the design based on user feedback. Although this iteration isn't perfect - it has tight fits and loose screws after repeated twisting, requires costly small bearings, and may necessitate non-standard fasteners - a private project is underway for a third version that addresses these concerns.
