Disclaimer: This design isn't mine; I found it on GrabCad and thought it deserved a home here on Thingiverse. The original author is Blake Courter, and you can find the design at https://grabcad.com/library/11-gear-mobius-v3-1. The designer created a Shapeways-printable version of the mobius gears that doesn't require ball bearings. These models have been validated with white and black nylon SLS for the arms and nylon and alumide SLS for the gears. You can find the parts list, including the two STL files and the required McMaster parts, in the BOM.csv file. It's essential to test the fit of the gears, as they may need a little wear-in with Shapeways SLS Aluminide process. You might want to adjust the offset of the gear teeth to match your process; if you need help, just message me. The hole of the gears is designed to be bored with an F or G drill; feel free to offset it if you prefer not to machine them. I apologize for the imperial sizing of these components; unfortunately, there isn't a metric version available yet. If someone wants to collaborate on creating a metric version using standard metric components, I'm more than happy to help. The gears were generated using custom code on top of SpaceClaim. All modeling was performed in SpaceClaim. If you're interested in custom gears or want the add-in, reach out to me or build it from https://github.com/bcourter/SpaceClaim-AddIns. Please be sure to download the Bill of Materials (BOM) and follow the instructions carefully for a successful print.
