11 Gauge Sheet Metal Protective Grommets
thingiverse
I required some protective grommets to safeguard a vinyl hose leading to a PC water-cooled thermometer/flow indicator I'm utilizing in my K40 Laser setup. To secure the hose, I drilled out holes in the sheet metal, but I was concerned that the burrs might scratch the tubing. These grommets not only shield the tube but also conceal the less-than-perfect drilling job. The naming convention for these grommets is grommet_XXX_YY, where XXX represents the fraction of an inch hole diameter and YY denotes the open angle. These Grommets are designed to fit 11-gauge sheet metal, which is the material used in my K40 Laser.
