The Krater vase boasts an elegant bell-shaped body, a wide mouth that opens up to a horizontal flared rim, and a slender stand ring at its base. Two horizontal handles are carefully arranged on either side of the rim, with intricately impressed ends adding a touch of sophistication. A beautifully crafted channelling adorns this masterpiece, making it not only an exquisite vase but also a highly functional one - perfect for bringing food or liquids to the table, and even storing various products, like a krater filled with grains discovered in a burned building near the "red rampart" at Costeşti-Cetăţuie. Drawing inspiration from ancient Greek ceramics, which were originally used to mix wine with water, the Dacians cleverly adapted this design to fit their unique tastes and customs.
