EDIT 7/30/16:I update tolerances as first version was severely off mark (apologize for mistake). I boost thread depth from 2mm to approximately 3mm, test one in ABS, and it works surprisingly well, haha! Next step is further testing and prints within a day or so to confirm success. Appreciate your patience. EDIT 8/1/16:Additionally, CAD file revised to print with flat side facing bottom as it was initially upside down by default. EDIT 8/2/16:I think I finally iron out the wrinkles today. I manufacture finalized test piece in ABS after discovering I had helix backwards, resulting in counterclockwise threads that wouldn't work. The latest test piece works flawlessly! Plan to create one in nylon and igus I180-PF filaments soon. Now consider this a done deal and not "work-in-progress". Enjoy! This is a MTS Flange Mount Supernut, similar to Delrin Lead Nut or LeadScrew Nut design with Trapezoidal or Triangular profiles. Intended as a plastic replacement for the Lulzbot Mini, compatible with 10mm Leadscrews having 2mm pitch. Soft "self-lubricating" plastics like Nylon might be best options due to low coefficient of friction; other users claim that PLA works fine, while another possibility is using igus Tribo-filament:http://www.igus.com/us/en/news-and-press/new_products/N14_4_1_iglidur_TriboFilament Also, thanks to JEZZMUND for uploading a modified design version with triangular mounting holes; his shorter design uses OpenScad threads. In my opinion, my thread designs appear smoother than the OpenSCAD ones in his model. He confirms that PLA functions well.http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:138504
