10x 18650 Battery holder/case
prusaprinters
<p>I always lose track of my 18650 cells so I decided to design a case for them. This is my first major print on my i3 MK3S+, and my first print I've published online. I'm sure there are plenty of battery holders around but hopefully someone will find this one appealing.</p><figure class="table" style="float:left;"><table><tbody><tr><td colspan="2"><strong>Capacity</strong></td><td>10 x 18650 cells</td></tr><tr><td colspan="3"><strong>Height</strong></td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:right;width:200px;" colspan="2"><i>Base</i></td><td>52mm</td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:right;width:200px;" colspan="2"><i>Cover/lid</i></td><td>24mm</td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:right;width:200px;" colspan="2"><i>Total (with cover)</i></td><td>72mm</td></tr><tr><td style="width:200px;"><strong>Width</strong></td><td colspan="2">130.5mm</td></tr><tr><td style="width:200px;"><strong>Depth</strong></td><td colspan="2">49.5mm<br>47mm excluding text</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Recommendations</strong></td><td colspan="2"> </td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:right;"><i>Filament</i></td><td colspan="2">PLA or any of its regular substitutes.</td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:right;"><i>Layer height</i></td><td colspan="2">0.2mm or below (I used 0.1mm in my photos).</td></tr></tbody></table></figure><p>I wish I had some clear filament to try printing the cover with. I've included a version of the cover with a slight bevel on the top. I designed this model in Blender. I know traditional CAD programs are probably a lot better suited to practical prints, but Blender is where I am most comfortable right now.</p><p> </p>
