I upgraded my Anet A8's heatbed to a larger one (300x200) and had to rework the frame accordingly. The new frame required an extra 100mm in length, so I swapped out the original 8mm threaded rods for 10mm ones to accommodate it. To minimize noise and vibrations, I installed the printer on a stone plate and secured it with those brackets you see there. The brackets are designed not to shift or slide around, thanks to a 10mm metric thread at their top.
