I've got an older AeroXCraft Glass Fiber Landing Gear and Gimbal setup for my DJI F550 Flamewheel. The gimbal used servos, so I wanted to replace it with a Tarot brushless unit. The Tarot gimbal came with arms designed to snap onto relatively narrow 10mm rods, but the AeroXCraft had widely spaced 12mm rods. To bridge the gap, I created these simple adapters, which work perfectly! Print four of them. Print Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 100 micron, .1mm Infill: 30% Notes: Printed using Simplify 3D default 'high' settings. Stainless nozzles, ABS @ 250C, Hatchbox Filament. I imagine many other materials would work. How I Designed This Sketchup Make 2016 Designing this was a breeze. I simply created a 10mm rod and a 12mm rod, then subtracted the 12mm rod from the 10mm rod at the right spot to leave a ~4.8mm width, which I measured from my copter's frame.
