This precision-engineered belt tensioner is specifically designed to effectively tighten 10mm wide GT2 belts, a common feature found in many do-it-yourself CNC machines. To utilize this system, simply press-fit an M3 nut into one end of one tensioner block, and then feed an M3 bolt into the opposite end of the other tensioner block. Secure the tensioner blocks to the GT2 belt using cable ties, ensuring that the teeth of the belt align perfectly with the tensioner blocks' tooth grooves (tensioner blocks are available with the tooth grooves oriented on either side). Finally, tighten the M3 bolt into the nut until the desired belt tension is achieved.
