10E Milwaukee Packout Bit Organizers

Check out my YouTube for more creations: https://www.youtube.com/@EvanTennieI wanted to organize a large number of bits in my packout but the models I found were sometimes inconsistent with gripping the bits, needed additional hardware, or were hard to fit your fingers between bits to pull them out. I decided to design a couple of bins. I wanted to have the organizer have a good grip on the bits but not too much so I came up with a compliant gripping geometry. I had the idea to swivel the bits in order to create more space between rows so that the bits can easily be grabbed. Lastly, most of the models are pint in place without any assembly of parts needed. I printed these out of ABS with 2+ walls, all models printed without supports with the exception of “Milwaukee Long Bit Holder” 1 and 2. I used support blockers on the top of the vertical slots to save a little material. These two parts are also the only models that need to be assembled so that the carriage piece rides in the slots. Note: I designed these with gaps of .25mm, this was working fine on my two printers. I found inserting bits and using the leverage to free up the swivel mechanism works pretty well. I'll keep an eye on the comments and I can make a version with larger gaps if others are finding that the gap is too tight. You could also try reducing your flow if you're finding the parts are getting fused together.
