1050Ti noctua fan shroud
thingiverse
Fan shroud for a Gigabyte low-profile GTX 1050 Ti. This replaces the side-mounted original fan with an end-mounted Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX (the 3-pin, 12V version). Since the original fan uses a non-standard connector, I had to solder the fan wires to the protruding pins on the underside of the board. The circular pad should be black, then red is next to black, and yellow is last. Since the Noctua is so quiet, you may also want to adjust the fan curves to keep the card cooler. The reason for this design: I have this card in a Optiplex 990, the original fan started making weird noises, and I had enough room (a little over 2 slots) to put a 40mm Noctua at the end of the card. This leads to better overall airflow within the case, and even at full speed, the Noctua is quieter than the original. A Unigine Superposition benchmark of 1080p high ended up with a stable delta of 62C above room temperature, although idle is much lower than that. The reason for the circular indent in the middle is to encourage airflow through the bottom of the heatsink, closer to the chip. The .skp file is the SketchUp 2020 model I created to design the fan shroud. You are welcome to use it do design your own, but be aware some of the relative positioning may be different from card to card.
