These are custom braces for the 101Hero printer that eliminate the need for glue, requiring only drilling four holes per pylon and installing four M3 bolts/nuts per brace. I opted for nylon locking nuts to secure mine since it's frequently relocated, sparing me from tedious re-tightening. To assemble the braces, drill holes large enough for M3 bolts into your pylons. Hold each brace in place as high up as possible without compromising its structural integrity and mark four precise locations with a marker. Next, drill the marked holes, then insert the bolt from the front on top and from the back on bottom. Installing the bolt from the front on the bottom may cause carriage obstruction. Alignment is not strictly necessary, but strive for straightness to maintain an aesthetically pleasing design. I designed these braces because I disliked the permanent glue-on attachment method used by other models. Instead, I chose a bolt-on approach that allows for future disassembly if needed. These custom braces boast wider contact points than most standard glue-on designs, potentially offering superior stability. A minor drawback is drilling additional holes into each pylon, but I consider this a small price to pay for the benefits of modular, replaceable braces over permanent fixtures.
