I saw a few cones that ae 100mm long in each direction, but mostly theyre bulky and either theyre full cube or only a corner. So with this square you can check: 1- length of prints x, y and z axis 2- extrusion rate... more like just an idea of whether youre over or under extruding.. 3- see if your x and y axis are actually square by measuring diagonals of the print(a big one for me). So heres the formula to edit steps on axis if you have a good extrusion rate and still dont have accurate sizes: expected distance(e) divided by observed distance(d) times current steps(s) = new amount of steps per mm(ns). So in short (e/d)*s=ns Many uses 25mm cube but i find it less then desirable, as it is just so short distance. After doing my extrusion tests and this, my printer now actually makes prints that will fit together. And i hope it might help someone else. Oh! and i designed another one with holes to save material... looks cool, but guess what- it doesnt save any material(uses precisely the same amount at 15% infill), and it takes almost twise as much time to make.... :D But it looks cool so i added it as well, but if you just want to check your printer- use simple one(100square v1), it will be faster print because it doesnt have to run and jump around holes.. :D Enjoy!
