100mm Steps Calibration Device
thingiverse
This calibration object delivers more accurate results than the standard calibration cube due to its larger size of 100mm. The formula used is: Calibrated steps = current steps * 100 / measured axis (mm). For instance, on the first print of a device, if the x-axis measures 99.15mm and you use an EEPROM Marlin Editor Plugin to get your x-axis steps/mm as 79.10, using the formula yields: 79.20 * 100 / 99.15 = 79.88 steps/mm. Subsequently, after entering the new value in EEPROM and printing the device again, with a new x-axis measuring 99.95mm.
