100MM Nexus Mecanum Wheel Custom Insert

One thing about 100 MM Nexus Mecanum wheels is that they're extremely heavy, and when we took one apart we found out that a significant amount of the weight comes from the Nylon Inserts. Additionally, we needed to minimize the width of the wheel as much as possible, and also wanted to use a 3/8" Hex shaft on our robot, so we designed these. For using them, it's a bit more complicated, but you should only do this if you're highly experienced. You'll have to disassemble the wheel, then put it back together with the custom 3D printed insert. We use it on our Rover Ruckus robot, and it performs exceptionally well.
