When hooking up the exhaust vent of my laser processing machine to the outside air, I opted for a duct with a diameter of 100 mm.\r\n\r\nA gentle rain breeze poses no challenge, but an insect infestation is another story altogether.\r\n\r\nLacking a suitable screen, I decided to create one using the laser processing machine. In fact, even 3D printers can be fabricated without any issues.\r\n\r\nAttaching this duct to the existing one requires only a bellows seal, eliminating the need for adhesives or other fasteners. The result is a crisp, professional finish that's hard to distinguish from factory-made components.\r\n\r\nIf you're still concerned about insect invasions, simply stack multiple layers of these protective vents or install a filter to ensure a complete barrier.
