I recently acquired a VESA mount for a monitor off eBay for $20 and paired it with a debezeled 27" LED display I bought from there for about $80. However, the screws that came with the mount did not fit snugly into the gap left by removing the back of the monitor. To securely attach the monitor to the mount's backing, I created this spacer, which measures around 1.5 cm (15mm) thick and can be adjusted or cut down to size as needed. For those who are curious about its rendering, I have provided a digital image in rose-gold hue, saving you the risk of potentially ripping your monitor off its stand by uploading a physical photo. Fortunately, the entire design process is quite simple and effortless. Since you don't need to make any adjustments after printing, you can choose to cut, sand or carry out other operations as required. For those interested in creating similar items using Autodesk Fusion 360, this project will give you a basic understanding of how the designing process should go down. As for the actual creation of the model, it is made entirely from 100% Cura-infused 215°C PLA white filament. Using RepRap Zonestar P802-M printer settings and maintaining moderate speeds between around 50mm/s are more than enough for such prints, which take advantage of full infill without necessarily requiring exceptionally high print quality to produce desired results.
