100mm Extract Tubing Collar
prusaprinters

This is an accessory for use with a standard 100mm outside diameter extract ducting tube.

It can also be used with the previously uploaded project, "120mm Fan Fume Extractor", which now has an added extended exit funnel to accommodate the 35mm collar width of this one. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3636749)

The gcode file for the extended exit funnel has been modified for speed, shaving off about 4 hours down to around 10 hours to print, for 0.2mm resolution at 10% infill.

Also Included is the .f3d (Fusion360) CAD file of the collar, for those who'd like to tinker with & modify it to suit their needs. (e.g. 'Move surfaces' to narrow the collar to fit the previously uploaded exit funnell.)

The 2x 3mm holes are there to secure the collar in place on the aforementioned exit funnel, or to secure it to any standard 100mm (outside diameter) extract tube with a clearance of at least 35mm, for the collar to fit around.
The larger 'tab' area around these two holes can either be further modified to suit or just used as a grip for moving it around or anchoring with a bulldog clip and bracket (as in my case).

I hope you'll find it useful!

Printing details:

I'm using brims on this one as the area under the main loop for adhesion to the bed is so thin at 1mm. (I tried it without and it started slipping early on during the print!)

0.2mm Resolution, 10% Infill, Generic PLA or PLA+.

There is also a PETG .gcode file as an option, sould the collar be needed for more robust application.

:-)
