Introducing an optimized version of my Stratos glider designed for smaller printer beds, which prints in pieces on a 100mm bed and assembles easily with a bit of superglue. However, don't forget to read the readme file before printing, as there are important details to consider when slicing the model. To fully explore the flight capabilities of this glider, you might want to use a launcher and an 8" x 1/8" rubber band. Please remember that files are licensed for personal use only; commercial use, derivatives, or other unspecified uses are prohibited. This efficient conventional glider is ideal for looping flights and long glides. It requires ABS plastic with a .20mm layer height and 25% fill, printed with two perimeters and two solid layers. Ensure proper orientation to avoid wing warping during flight. After allowing the parts to cool, carefully remove them from the build platform. Test fit all components before final assembly using a small amount of CA glue. Assemble the fuselage, wings, tail, hook, and canopy in the specified order. Adjust for symmetry and dihedral angle as needed. Make any necessary elevator adjustments prior to flight. Launch with hand or a 1/16" to 1/8" rubber band, and fine-tune by adjusting elevator control or aileron bending if required. For more gliders, visit Threedsy.
