kcmj crafted an exceptional siren. Tolerances were precise, and parts fit seamlessly together. My dogs and cats formed an unlikely friendship once I printed it. Normally, I design items that print without support material, but this time, I added a stop to the motor mount to make assembly slightly less finicky. I also updated the file names.\r\n\r\n3-10-18: During testing, the fan kept unscrewing at high RPM with comical results. Witnessing a 3D printed air raid siren careening down the street at breakneck speed, spewing bits of itself everywhere, was nothing short of hilarious. To prevent this, I designed a fan with clockwise rotation. Stay tuned for an update after re-printing the entire thing in PETG.
