I got frustrated with the cumbersome, inefficient spool holders that have poor angles and excessive friction, causing them to slip frequently and producing noise - prompting me to check on my print every 3 minutes. I created this innovative multi-spool holder in Blender, designed to be thin enough to support all standard spools, which now glide smoothly behind the printer with virtually no resistance. It's also completely printable, eliminating any potential hassle. NOTE: These two parts must be printed together; that's why only combined files were submitted - printing them separately would result in the long rods deforming due to rapid printing speeds, as each new layer starts printing before the previous layers cool and harden. I intentionally designed this print layout for optimal results, allowing the print head to move back and forth while printing, providing sufficient time for the layers to cool between additions. I plan to update this design in the future by incorporating a separate bar that can snap into the two holders, offering even greater flexibility and ease of use. UPDATE: Initially designed for attachment to my printer, I've since discovered that it also functions effectively when standing upright. Although specifically created for the Rep2/Cube2, it can be used with any 3D printer, either attached or unattached.
